Our customer John in central Virginia shared with us a picture of his DIY homebuilt solar air heating using an Arctica PV Fan Thermostat kit. John utilizes black painted drain line to capture sunlight and transfer the heat to surrounding air, powered by the 10W PV panel, fan, thermal switch and heat-only thermostat of our kit.
John is seeing 67.5 F ambient air going into the heater ...
... and 91.4 F coming at the exhaust.
John will be using his heater below a double hung window which will allow for solar heated air to circulate into his living space during the 2023 / 2024 winter season. Thanks to John for sharing the pictures of this DIY project!
