In this winter 2026, as the east coast grapples with one of the coldest winters in decades, we wanted to share this recent installation of 2x 1500 Series Arctica Solar air heaters on a customer's home in upstate New York.
Our customer already has an impressive photovoltaic solar installation, but wanted to 'supplement' their PV system and existing heating system with some well placed 1500 series heaters to help with living space heating during the winter months.
The customer is reporting strong winter performance - but hoping for more sunshine and less snow!
Its a graceful example of solar daylighting + PV + solar air heating working together to the benefit of a lived in space.
